but what do I know?

It's a good thing that all these threats against elected officials just happened, totally independent of one another, and certainly not due to any identifiable voices in our national discourse in the conversation about the health care bill. Otherwise, it might look bad for all the people who were inciting not just disagreement, but violent disagreement with the legislation. People like Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh, to name just three of the people wholly innocent of any blame for this unfortunate series of random, disconnected events by individuals flung far and wide across the country who have no commonality with one another, up to and including radio and network broadcasts, cable television shows, or well-compensated and -publicized personal appearances.
