I think she's just bait. Whoever is running the Republicans
gets to avoid being a target this way. If she fails miserably, she can always be marginalized.

5. True - and the unbrella covers just the tip of the trunk
If that is a symbol of the coverage and protection they intend to give the country, they are only covering their own nose.

4. As she was introduced
somebody in the crowd waved a huge poster in front of the cameras. It was the pic of dear Sarah sighting down a rifle barrel and it was pointed right at the viewers.

Nukular too also.

7. Hah! MSNBC
just switched over to cover the President's talk. No doubt the GOP will insist that Obama timed his remarks in order to draw attention away from Palin . . .

8. She just bragged about vetoing accepting the Obama stimulus money for Alaska
and the Alaskan legislature overruled her. She stoke of rejecting it because of strings. Here is what it really was:

"he Alaska Legislature voted Monday to overturn former Gov. Sarah Palin's veto of $28.6 million in federal recovery funds.

Palin, who resigned as governor two weeks ago, vetoed the appropriation of stimulus funds for energy programs in May over the objections of Alaska state Senate leaders, who urged Palin to accept money for energy efficiency grants, retrofitting buildings and replacing streetlights with LED bulbs that last longer and use less electricity.

Lawmakers met for a one-day special session in Anchorage Monday and voted 45-15 to overturn the veto, CNN reported.

She joked that Obama's knowledge of nuclear issues must have come from when he was a community organizer in Chicago - ignoring his work with Lugar. Now, in 2004, the slightness derision of Bush by any Democrat met with media disaproval - let's she if the media will say that this level of disrespect of a sitting President gets any criticism.

Palin had said she might reject more than $400 million of the $930 million allocated to Alaska under the stimulus package."

I now am hearing her demagogueing environmental/alternative energy. ( She explained the drilling concession of Obama as rejecting the good GOP plan - which he ended and now he is closing off the NE, and the best area in Alaska and off the west coast - and it is delayed to 2012 - more time for the lawyers. Hey, she made me LIKE Obama's plan.)

(I have reached the max minutes of hearing her screechy voice.
