"Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) throws towards a DisCatcher while Vietnam Veteran Bill Broas watches. Senator Schumer was leaving a press conference at Brakewell Steel Fabricators in Chester, NY and stopped to talk with a few veterans about installing Disc Golf courses at VA hospitals in the Hudson Valley. Although a novice, Senator Schumer obviously displayed excellent putting form."

3. This is the best part about the Tiger Woods golf video game on the Wii

You can play disc golf on any of the courses available and the wii controller works just like a frisbee and is very realistic and accurate. Lots of fun at those family parties!

7. Similar... a friend of mine plays.. it's pretty funny actually

he's got a set of em' just like gold clubs, I guess they are different weights or something. He takes it pretty seriously..

. . . you can carry a couple of cold ones in your little golf bag.

There's usually a nice wilderness area involved, which makes the entire experience sublime.

9. there are different discs that fly different ways

you could have a disc that drifts straight, left, or right.
dics to putt, discs to drive..
discs for wind,//

11. There's a large Disk(Frisbee)-Golf course in San Diego off Morley field

a couple acres at least, and it's always packed on the weekends with groups of younger people and families - and dogs on leash. Tournament weekends, there's at least a few hundred, and parking is a nightmare.
Even during the week, I see a few players out there as I come home from work.
Looks fun, but I wouldn't want to bring a border collie out there with my group.
