I'm sick of the people around me saying that this state's problems are all Jennifer Granholm's fault, when was in the works long before she took office. Anybody willing to share any pertinent links about John Engler and the damage that he did?

1. Here's a pretty good link for his dismal environmental record:

Man, I couldn't stand that guy. He's right up there with Pete Hoekstra in my Pantheon of Evil.

2. Here's one of the many awful things he did
He sold the lab (state owned, as I recall) that made the anthrax vaccine to a private company - profits that could have gone to the state. Among other things, the company, BioPort, ended up being related to Bateille (sp), which likewise was connected to the companies that owned voting machines in Ohio in 2004 (I don't have links for all of this, but it's the typical story of selling off state assets, and being part of an interconnected net of WTF).

He was poison to Michigan. Most of the problems are for more related to him than to Granholm.

5. The prick got a gig as President of the National Association of Manufacturers.
A putrid excuse of a coward. Didn't do a single thing for Michigan, except cut taxes for the wealthy and the corporations. His financial reward is his way of helping offshore union jobs.
