we will work the 2010=2011 year and go through the re-structuring process.
We did not make AYP. Failed in both Math and Reading. Sad thing is, the team leaders are Math teachers and they are almost guaranteed to be re-hired. Music ... not so much if we even have a program next year due to budget cuts.
5. NCLB should have been repealed by now. Florida just voted to pay teachers
only by the scores from the previous year. So when this law starts in 3 or 4 years we figure we might squeeze another few years before we are kicked to the curb. The state will no longer recognize experience or college degrees so anyone can presumably "teach" in Florida. The only thing Jeb wants is to teach to a test anyway. We are just trying to wrap our heads around just judging each kid by what bill we might be able to pay the following year. Got to get out of this business.
