Do you think the TeaParty would use a nuke if it could?
Edited on Wed Apr-14-10 04:39 PM by PCIntern
These people are so irrationally angry at the 'rest of us', that they're capable of just about anything. The eyes, (if not that dead-eye look), are often so hate-filled that they resemble those crowd scenes in the old silent movies...I'm sure you know the ones to which I am referring. It's a real case of mob psychology...when I was a high school student, we read a book entitled "Rumor, Fear, and the Madness of Crowds". Our civics teacher used to talk about uprisings in the streets and how one day, there could be the opposite of what we knew as Peace Marches, Civil Rights Marches, and the like. He had no idea how correct he was.

On edit: This is a rhetorical question, posed b/c there's a thread entitled: Would Al Queda use a nuke if it could? or words to that effect...

3. No. The pattern is painfully clear here - TeaParty people do something,
The media give the event more attention than it deserves, then liberals overreact, thus generating more material for the media to give more attention than it deserves.

We really need to put pressure on their backers... you know these idiots don't have the intelligence to do all this organizing... I'm betting theirs an evil community organizer being paid by some RW group or another... just sayin'...

7. their spiritual leader, tim mcveigh, bombed innocent people sure, they would
hate is hate and there is no doubt many a teabagger who wouldn't bat an eye at dropping a bomb on d.c. if you'd bomb oklahoma city you'd bomb any place in america, frankly

these people are all about the "self" and the rest of us are not worthy of life, in their view

every tea-bagger who wants a sick person to die w.out care to keep their taxes lower is a murderer in his soul, they are just the type to kill at a distance, that in fact is EXACTLY what they advocate

both the tea-bagger and al queda want to see americans dead, but the tea-bagger is more cowardly and wants americans killed to line his pocket and quietly killed, at a distance -- it's the perfect mentality for the bomb dropper

these people are evil, fortunately, MOST of them are also damn dead lazy and i have to trust the fbi to keep track of the rest...

8. They would drop one on San Francisco in a second
Edited on Wed Apr-14-10 04:45 PM by lunatica
'Get rid of them libruls and homos and flatten Nancy Pelosi's house all at the same time'

It would be too tempting.

Drop one in LA with all those librul actors too. Wipe out the gays and libruls in California with only two nukes.

New York? Yeah that too. It's full of non-Christians.

Washington, DC. Definitely it's full of Socialists.

Yeah. They would.

12. They are stupid granted..but not that stupid
Most people realize that to set off a bomb, would cause YOU as much trouble as the people you would want to set it off at. It would poison the air, the ground and everything for miles around. Where would THEY go. Foreigners who don't have to live here, yes. But people that have to stay and live in this country are not quite that stupid yet.

13. I doubt most of them are capable of that level of reasoning...
It's like rioters setting their own neighborhoods on fire... makes no sense, but you know that's what they do.

16. Oh fucking please...
So far I have heard big talk from the Tea Partiers.. you know stuff like "from my cold dead hands" but the minute the cops show up at their door they fold like a cheap suit. When they show up in court they bawl like little babies.

These people are BUFFOONS and I for one am not scared of any of them in the slightest. And if you really think that there is a bagger out there smart enough to acquire a nuke, I have some land in Florida for sale.

Funny I thought we were against the "politics of fear" here.

23. That's probably true for most of them...
It really only takes a couple crazy ones to do a lot of damage though... Although, I suspect even the most asshole-ish (the annoying vocal ones we see the most) would do everything in their power to stop a few super nuts from doing something like the op mentioned. I just don't think the majority of them hate this country to do that....

that repeatedly states that they want to attack and kill Democrats/Leftists in the US "when the time comes"... Not all of them are that crazy, but a lot of them are certainly making plans, and would be glad to get a small nuke.
