Taxes at LOWEST level in 60 years

Someone tell the Tea Party drunks this, not that they would care anyway, they've never dealt with reality & facts; only racism, anger, xenophobia, & whether or not Hawaii is a state....

2. The following statement from the link is so true!!!
Said Gale: "The relation between what is said in the tax debate and what is true about tax policy is often quite tenuous. The rise of the Tea Party at at time when taxes are literally at their lowest in decades is really hard to understand."

5. They will go up soon
Parts of the Bush tax cuts affecting those who make $200,000 (or was it $250,000?) or more will be allowed to expire soon. Beck and the rest of their rich white heroes might have to cut one or two of their champagne baths out of their daily routines. Maybe Joe the Plumber will only be wealthier than 98% of the population soon. It's a tragedy.

3. Federal taxes might go down but the state's taxes keep going up.

6. Was still lower overall
According to an AP article I read today, the amount of tax cuts at the federal level eclipsed the increases at state and local levels, leading to still lower taxes overall. Lost the link though... maybe someone can find it (I have to get back to class :-P).

4. I read the "article" and it is entirely devoid of definition and substantiation.
Are tax rates the lowest in 60 years, tax revenues, taxes on certain economic segments, what?

When discussing American taxation, one has to be very specific, otherwise you end up with the most profitable corporations on earth paying 0 while whining about how high the marginal rates are.
