Forget Compassionate Conservatism. It is now the Compassionate KKK...

I'm black and I think of the tea party as a compassionate version of the Klu Klux Klan. As to why blacks don't trust Republicans under Steele - it's the old lipstick (Steele) on a pig (Republicans) syndrome. BTW - I'm not so much proud that we have a black president as I am that my white brothers/sisters voted in an intelligent, thoughtful man irregardless of his race. My faith in humanity was restored on November 4, 2008.
