Simply amazing ... Poll: Tea Party Supporters View Palin, Beck and Bush Favorably
Poll: Tea Party Supporters View Palin, Beck and Bush Favorably

t remains unclear whether the Tea Party movement has a leader - or if it wants one, according to a new CBS News/ New York Times poll. But when asked specifically about a few notable figures, Tea Partiers named Fox News personality Glenn Beck and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as favorites.

Two thirds of Tea Partiers said they had a favorable opinion of Palin, according to the poll, conducted April 5 - 12, while 59 percent have a favorable opinion of Beck.

Fifty-seven percent of Tea Partiers also think well of former Republican President George W. Bush, but only 35 percent think well of Sen. John McCain, the 2008 GOP presidential candidate.

9. 57% of them support of Bush.
That means they really don't understand how we got to where we are now.

I mean, even Beck has admitted that Bush was running up the debt.

11. The original Tea Party was actually anger at Repubs as well as at Dems.

For the deficit and needless war in Iraq. But these current bunch haven't got a clue. (Not that Ron Paul is all that great either...he is pretty nutty and would do away with cabinet positions and whole departments if he could.)

4. Another Report Shows Racism...
And so no surprise they favor the blockheads.

They have denied, apologized for and rationalized all the signs and behavior, but a recent report indicates that they are truly racists:

5. I'd bet $1,000,000.00
that if there were a poll here on DU asking what us libs think the Tea Baggers think of Palin, Beck, Bush etc....we'd be pretty much spot on. I didn't see Bachmann on the list. By my estimation, she'd rank at Bush's level.

8. That's a lot of 'Unsures' for a group that claims to be...
intelligent and politically tuned in. How can a Teabagger be 'Unsure' about those names listed? Do they even know who Ron Paul is?

10. Proving, yet again, that this group is the loosely associated party of GOP racists.
Like we didn't know, but we did.

12. You nailed it
They are unsure exactly because despite screaming empty platitudes about "The Constitution" and "I want my country back"; these fuckers don't actually stand FOR anything. They are only united in their hatred of Obama. Gee I wonder why they have such a visceral hatred of Obama.
