Have the Rapturists been getting worked up these days?

Earthquakes....volcanoes...fireballs....can't imagine what it's doing to the "Rapture Index"

Obama + earthquakes = the end is near.

and of course the ongoing persecution of christians in a nation where 80+% of people self-identify as Christian.

Or maybe killer bees.

It's loony tunes on the Rapture sites. Buncha very strange folks on them.

"And they will stand on the embankments of heaven and look down and laugh at all of us poor souls burning in hell."


I see a parallel with the modern day rapturists and the pre-cocaine hippies of the 60s.

The Age of Aquarius was envisioned as very peaceful and gloriously loving but minus any vengeful smiting of non-believers.

But then and now it's all silly Delusions of Grandeur.

I like the way that RW Evangelicals at first were in lock step (as usual) with big Corporations and Industry and said that climate change was baloney.

Now they are very accepting of climate change because it's not seen as the externalities of human pollution, but as God's righteous calling card. SEEEE!

Frankly...I wish they were right. Wish they'd go the fuck away.
