WASHINGTON —

The in-depth poll found Americans not only rejecting the idea of an activist government, but a growing number urging that its power be curtailed. The findings reinforce the anti-big government message of tea party rallies and suggest anew that incumbents, particularly Democrats, face a strong headwind in this fall's elections for control of Congress.

"By almost every conceivable measure, Americans are less positive and more critical of government these days," said the report from the non-partisan Pew Research Center.

10. I will give you that he is secretive but I can't agree with
as secretive. You can identify that by the Republicans screaming about how he is sharing too much. We know who is going in and out of the White House now which is a huge change.

He is not perfect so don't think I worship at his feet. I do know that he won't start a war unless it is absolutely necessary.

9. I see. But ask them about their belief and trust in the fucking "FREE MARKETZ" . . .
. . . "Oh, a free market represents OPPORTUNITY. An A-MAHR'cn institution. Freedumz, freedumz to choose . . . " etc, etc, ad nauseum.

Such bullshit. American humans are comedic. Always, always, ALWAYS falling back on their Reaganite conditioning. "It's NEVER the rich people's fault. I'm gunna BE rich someday! I'll tell you who it iz, it's teh POLITISHUNS, particulr'ly DEMocRAT onez!"

12. Poll shows that Americans don't trust planet Earth. Join the Green Tea Party.
Just look how the Earth has let us down: earthquake after earthquake. And now we have ash keeping us from going where we want to go. The earth is a tyrant! If we don't stop the planet who knows what will happen next.

for months have been giving a minuscule segment of the population who are woefully uninformed and unhappy their side lost and believe our president is a socialist 24/7 coverage as if they were a legitimate movement? Could that be skewing people's perceptions?
