Bill Cunningham: "In 2003, most people, including Democrats, believed Barack Hussein Obama had WMDs"
First time I've had the pleasure of tuning in to this idiot.

just shy of 1:00a.m., the self-proclaimed "Great American" and rightwing lunatic talk show host was defending the Iraq war and made that statement.

He's tossed the name "Hussein" around so many times, he's can't keep it straight.

Where did the Republicans find this asshat?

Earlier in the show he was livid that Bill Clinton would criticize the teabaggers' extremism.

So he said that Clinton had no right to talk because he supposedly caused the Oklahoma City bombing because of "extremism" at "Waco and Ruby Ridge"

Not only is Cunningham trying to justify the murderous crime of Tim McVeigh, he's such an idiot that he doesn't realize Ruby Ridge occurred under Poppy Bush in 1992.

Where are the moderate voices in the GOP to denounce this lying hatemonger?

3. Just another RW talk show idiot host being seditious without being called on it.
At this point of time AM radio is the RNC's bread and butter. As long as the disinformation continues to be disseminated repeatedly into the brains of Americans, they can continue to foment chaos during the Administration of Mr. Obama. Why listen to that gospel hour on the radio when you can hear four or more hours of hatred by Limbaugh, Beck or Hannity?

And because their audiences do not question what is being said and believe such "information" hook, line and sinker, the RNC has developed their own special brand of foot soldiers to go out and do their bidding without even asking.

Now that we have Mr. Obama in office, I would hope that FCC would be filled with people who could make a difference to make things more fair. That is, if we were in an ideal world.

4. What's exactly fair though?
We can't force a product on the air that doesn't sell (Air America) just to make things fair. If we want to make things fair, we ought to create a product people will buy. Until then, we can't really complain that the Repugs have done it. It's our own damn fault.

7. Simply, we need to reevaluate the equal time law in the FCC.

Journalism is supposed to be an enterprise that presents objective slants on what is happening in the world. However, when money gets involved in the Fourth Estate as well as in government, what we get is FOX NEWS. As a result, policy, access and representation gets affected (i.e., the constant coverage of the Tea Baggers).

The reason why the media is going down the toilet is because of deregulation. The Republicans, who want a truly free market system, did away with the all the checks and balances to have that happen by wresting control of the FCC. And now what do we get?

Stations and networks owned by one particular conglomerate(or company). More locally, some of these stations (instead of the old FCC law of one company owning a certain number in a particular place) are owned by the same conglomerate. Therefore, the message stays the same without any deviation.

The news gets repetitious to the point that the audience cannot think for themselves anymore. They end up repeating what gets constantly put forth by the "talking heads". In that vein, the media conglomerates tells the populace what to think and offers little to no critical thinking to go along with the story.

We need a way to apply the Sherman Anti-Trust Act to break up the monopolies and defang them so that we can bring balance back into the information we get.

10. We have a product. We don't control ownership.
Progressive radio does well where it is allowed. People underestimate the continued repetitive power of propaganda of the right. It threatens your freedom and well being and you had better start recognizing it.

9. As Usual, The Wingnuts Revise History...Clinton Had ZERO to do with Ruby Ridge...
That all happened under Poppy booosh and so did a good share of Waco (the stand-off was set up during his last days)...but why should that stop this moronic shitstain from just making crap up.

I've seen this "winner" before...and shameful such a formerly great station as WLW wastes electrons on him.
