I have an Oathkeeper pal
Up until VERY recently, he has been as vocal, in calling for insurrection, obstruction, ending all traces of the socialist. Then, after I went hammer and tong on his ass, and his associations, he is coy. I even threw in a dumbass that I asked under what conditions would he turn his gun on a fellow US soldier. He spewed out a snap answer about if he saw him doing something UNCONSTITUTIONAL. I asked, how he would know that Oathkeeper was not starting the coup, and indeed was simply uncon? And how OKers will assure those not understanding, but fellow wingers, soes they dont have to dispatch their own. Soon after, he doesnt yell about insurrection, no boasts about stopping the Kenyan. Now, he is scared. He talks to lefties in measured tones. ANd commisurates about incivility. Longing for the arguments about legalizing pot, or lapel flag pins.

This OKer pal, is highly placed both in OKers, and our civil response to disaster, insurrection etc. There are those vowing to be traitors if they choose, in every capacity of our constitutional safety mechanisms. And he knows this. I only hope, that those that become disillusioned in OKers, and generally insurrection, spill the beans. And expose all that would rebel. I find it comforting, that there seems to be some humanity in at least one of those thoroughly frightening characters that usually exist only in your nightmares.

I remember back many years, a layman preacher, telling us to not be thrown, if the US should fall. That no thing can last forever. And to not link your conceptions of reality, on nationalism. I always remembered that advice. He being involved heavily in nukes, and nuke strategy. How exciting our times have become. How likely to result in human tragedy.

The choices, are even enough to scare the jeebus outta a revolutionary man.

1. Wasn't there a big oathkeeper convention last week? Tony Dungy and sports broadcaster James Brown
were there. It was some kind of religious gathering.

2. It's a brave thing to do, looking into a friend's face and seeing
the heart of evil, and facing it just the same.

I've been able to do that a few times and do it successfully, but only when there was potential there for the friend to realize that he was being used by some of the worst people in the universe. Sometimes they did.

There is nothing like time and life experience to issue wakeup calls.

Some people are banal and utterly stupid and we need to know when to cut our losses and walk away. Your friend, however, is young and idealistic and that has made him a prime sucker for evil men who would take those qualities and twist them into something diabolical.

Hang onto him if you can stand it. He's going to need a friend as he wakes up.

5. Jesus, there's no fool like an old fool
I'm afraid he might be a lost cause until and unless someone important enough is slaughtered that the FCC clamps down on all the shit spewing from radio and TV. Without their bubble of unreality maintained by mainstream hate media, these people are going to find cohesion difficult, even with the net and SW radio still available.

This garbage has got to be taken out of the mainstream. Until the PTB realize just how serious a threat it is, we're sunk.
