Just kind of curious since they're very much responsible for the abysmal state of the country. Perhaps they should shine a garish spotlight on themselves.

1. What's weird is that the date of comparison is '97. MOST of the decline took place under GWB.

5. From Gallup 2009:
Many Americans Remain Distrusting of News Media
Less than half (45%) have great deal/fair amount of confidence; majority perceive bias
by Lymari Morales

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Less than half of Americans (45%) say they have a great deal or fair amount of confidence in the media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly -- on par with last year's record-low 43%. About 2 in 10 Americans (18%) have no confidence in the media at all -- which is also among the worst grades Gallup has recorded.

3. That's an interesting question.
I found a poll from 2008 that says about half of Americans don't trust the media.

I wonder if there's anything more recent.

4. 5 out of 5 shouldn't trust the media......
with their making up shit and then lying in our faces just cause they can MOs!

I really can't stand any of 'em.

They commission polls, that are done by calling old ladies sitting by the phone
at 3:00 pm, and come back with their bullshit results, so that the cable 24/7s
have some more propaganda to serve us.

6. My question is who are they polling?
How does the poll take place? Are they calls? Who answers they're phone for a number they don't recognize? Because I've never been polled by anyone concerning anything. Any info appreciated.
