Anyone know what Obama's schedule is this weekend?

A friend and I will be in Washington DC between Friday and Sunday. Obviously DC's a big town, obviously the President doesn't stay in one place for long, and for all I know he'll be traveling. But...

...well, it'd be cool if he was giving a speech or making a public appearance or something, and we just happened to show up.

1. He doesn't appear in DC publicly that often. There aren't many open events. That's normal for all

presidents. He will most likely be going to Camp David.

It's fun to hang around the White House anyway.

Try to have a drinkie poo at the rooftop bar of the Hotel Washington, right by the White House.

7. my bf and I had two drinks there last Nov. and nearly fainted at the bill

But we had just come from the classical concert at the White House with lots of free champagne, so it all evened out. :-)

According to Asheville's Citizen Times, Obama last visited Asheville on Oct. 5, 2008 in the lead-up to the presidential election.

Local station WLO reports that the President, First Lady, their two daughters, Sasha and Malia, and Michelle's mother, will be staying at the historic Grove Park Inn.

The White House release said there will be no public events during the trip

5. The pool-sized outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the mountains is heaven.

I'm not one of the filthy rich. Filthy rich clients paid for my visit there during a board meeting.

That place is spectacular, if you can get past your memories of scenes from The Shining.
