The Founding Fathers

The Founding Fathers
I have had this debate before. When people refer to the Founding Fathers they are usually referring to Hamilton, Madison, and Jay because they wrote the Federalist Papers which is the basis for the Constitution. However I think you need to include folks like Jefferson.


I also think they were wise men but they were not without flaws and their thinking and writings were influenced by their times. Literally interpreting their writings makes as much sense to me as literally interpreting the Bible.
