Hutaree tape: 'A war of this magnitude will not be easy'

Detroit -- Federal court officials released an audio tape today of the rallying speech that a suspected homegrown terrorist intended to use to gain support from other militias for his plan to start a war with government officials he believed were part of a "New World Order."

The recording was initially played March 31 in federal court during the detention hearings for David Brian Stone Sr. and other members of the Lenawee County-based militia charged in crimes related to a plot to kill a local cop and start a bloody battle with the government.

Stone and eight followers are accused of belonging to the radical militia group, yielding various charges, including seditious conspiracy and attempted use of weapons of mass destruction.
