Nutcase in LVRJ (editorial) says women should not have right to vote
First off, shame, & I mean shame on the LVRJ for even allowing such a fucking ridiculous column...

http://www.lvrj.com/blogs/mitchell/Time_to_repeal_the_19th_Amendment.html

I don't know much about the LVRJ, is it a right wing rag like NY Post or Washington Times?....

1. If women were in charge of this country...
we would not be in these fucking wars all the time.

Just saying.

2. There are some great comments to the editorial
But this is one of the best

Boy, have you misinterpreted the data here. What you have shown is a clear need for a 28th Amendment do remove the voting rights of men. Now being male I'm not happy about losing my right to vote but the data is clear. Men are idiots and shouldn't be allowed the privilege of selecting the town dog catcher, let alone an important office like US Senator.

Men would rather go with the ditzy blond who has the mental capacities of a 12 year-old-boy rather than a man who has served this State with dignity and honor.

I'm just guessing but I would guess that it was the male vote that elected that fine Family values man, Sen. John Ensign, who not only had a long-term affair, but had it with his employee's wife. That's class. Really, what is the quality of a Senator who seduces the wife of his employee?

But let's not just use Sen. John Ensign, let's look at our own Governor..what's his name...800+ text messages to one woman..all 'official state business', but then he pays for them because they were private. NICE! He can have it both ways. But do I see men regretting there selection? Nope, Nevada men would vote him in again!

So men want to dump one of the most powerful people in the United States and remove the tremendous influence Nevada has with the Oval office.

Proof positive. We need a 28th
Amendment. Let's call it the Good Sense Recover Act of 2010.

7. That's what I was reading about the males picking someone
just because she is sexy...why in the hell do you think Palin is popular. Most women thinks she sucks, it's the men who go for her. Now don't get me wrong. There are plenty of intelligent good looking women. AND MEN. But I don't think a person should be voted in on looks, but that seems to be the reason a lot of people are picked for jobs and positions. Looks count.

4. In all fairness, the comments section
people are frying him for it.

Yes, he's ridiculous. And he needs to stay very far away from me. }(

6. I think it was satire
From a comment by the author I found:

Just got a call from a fan who said I was too stupid and too poor a writer to write satire. He hopes I drop dead.

As I wrote recently, satire is dead.

And so is any sense of humor or perspective.
