This was the thing that completely tainted Detective Mark Ferman's testimony in the OJ trial.

The free use of that word by white people, among other white people is on record, as a display of racism.

I grew up in '50s '60's Detroit. Almost every white grown-up I knew were blatantly racist except for my Mother.
She did not allow that word in her house.

Is that word allowed in Tea-Bag homes?

1. Sure, with their fingers crossed behind their backs
After all, if they're born again, they can do no wrong.

I'd like to give them lie detector tests, though. That would be pretty funny.

4. A lot of those racist grown-ups from our childhoods are still everywhere!
The angry Tea Bag faces are the mirror image of the people protesting the kids after Brown vs. The Board of Education.

5. People can be racist and never use the N-Word. They possibly
do not see themselves as racists. I would say there are
'fringe" members who are overtly racist. Their comments
and actions reflect this.

There is a theme "racial resentment". Let me say if Hilary
had won, we could easily be in the same or similar quagmire
but from another angle.

In late 70s and then into the 80s we saw a real change in
this country. It was at this time that Women really
came into the work place and began their rise to more
responsible positions. Likewise African Americans bega
to move up on the social rung. A reality is if Arican-Americans
or Women got a job, this meant a White Male probably did
not. At that time some Businesses and Institutions
did not help. Often some business people might quip
No whites need apply. This was a time of big change.
Some people moved on. Others kept pent up resentments
in their "craw" and continue to ruminate over them until
this day.

It was during the 80s that Regan started the serious
Free Trade Policies and Jobs were beginning to go out
of the country. This began to unnerve the Middle Class.
By the time the 90s and Nafta was pass the Middle Class
were really really angry. Since Presidents get the credit
or blame in most circumstances, Bill Clinton gets the
butt of their ire. It was Republicans who helped him
pass it, the Republican's slide. Bill Clinton and
Democrats get more blame. Losing jobs, then having
their living standards lowerred because they had to
take new jobs at lower pay. Having your living standards
lowered makes you feed--"the government has really skrwed
me.

All through this time, they heard a steady diet of
Hate Liberals--Hate Democrats.

What I am saying is there is more resentment than racism
Yes, there are some blatant racists. Among tthe larger
group it it is resentment, creating anger which they
have dreadfully misplaced.

I think if we can understand this it helps to knwo how
better to deal with it. Just some thoughts.

6. I think your 100% correct
If Hillary were President, we would be hearing the same crap with a sexist undertone?

How many of them can say they don't use derogative words about women? Given the slew of political and Celebrity adulterous behavior lately, this would've been interesting. When the day comes when we have a woman for president, that Pandora's box will be opened

The "smoking gun" stand out of the OJ trial was that nasty "N" word. It occurred to me, they can yell that their ideas have logic, merit, wisdom, anything but racism, but it could be proved that they'd used the word, the argument is moot.
