There's this grey area that politicians love to play in when they issue "statements"
That grey area is where the truth somehow becomes less than incidental.

Now, there's a few plausible reasons why they fall into this abyss: It ranges from simple, honest mistakes, to extemporaneously lazy bullshitting, to chronic stupidity, to all the way over to outright hypocrisy-laden pants on fire lies.

Other than Al Franken's books, I haven't seen any extensive tomes that explain why conservatives are so hell bent to run amongst us sporting the latest in flaming britches. Maybe I have to read more books.

But, c'mon... Is it really that hard for right wingers to be honest? Even a little?

It's like they have a mental block that prevents them from telling the truth.

It's the same mental block, I think, that prevents conservative minded common folks from plainly seeing that their conservative politicians are nothing but a bunch of pus filled bags of lies.

Now, If someone hasn't taken the time to discover why this is the case, and write it down in plain English for all of us to read, I'm going to say that that question may go down as one of the greatest mysteries of mankind's political existence.
