1. yes, and more importantly, i have actually read the ruling and analysis
most people just kneejerk and say "it's bad for fuzzy animals. it must be a bad decision"

2. For pity's sake--he hasn't even retired yet. Give him a break before the US files suit against him!

4. I'll let a friend speak for me
http://hsus.typepad.com/wayne/2010/04/supreme-court.html

"We have a consensus in society that animal fighting and malicious animal crush videos constitute cruelty. In order to give those values meaning, we need a set of laws that not only prohibit the core conduct, but also the sale of videos showing the illegal conduct. People victimize animals to make these videos, and to profit from them. If we cannot criminalize that behavior, we will have little hope of halting this disgusting and morally abhorrent activity."

Broken down: write a better fucking law you stupid idiots. As much as I agree that Chester McDouchebag and his epic kill of some multi-point buck, photographed blasted and bloody is little different than Fucklick Dogfighter showing off his champion dogfighter, one is legal (for the death animal porn enabled...yeah, you) one really shouldn't be, since one is a dog and one is "food"

But then, I wouldn't expect most folks to get that.

Now...back to the fishing channel!!!!!
