I just got a letter and survey from Michael Steele!

Lord only knows why, but I just received a 2010 Congressional District Census from The Man himself! The letter states that it is "one of a select few being mailed in Kansas' 3rd Congressional District", and I received it because of my "high level of political involvement and steadfast commitment to the Republican Party". Good god, no wonder their party is going down the tubes. The survey itself is 36 slanted questions, for example:

"Do you think the record trillion dollar federal deficit the Democrats are creating with their out-of-control spending is going to have disastrous consequences for our nation?"

Or this gem: "Do you believe the Republican Party should continue to embrace social issues?" (defined as school prayer, ban burning of the flag, ban human cloning, faith-based initiatives, ban all abortions and prohibit same sex marriage. I have to register my opinion as support or oppose or no opinion if I answered yes).

I must return this highly important document by May 17 in order to help bring the country back to the Utopia it once was under Republican rule (by sending money, obviously). I am going to write my own letter in reply, in addition to answering the complete opposite of the obvious answers, which even a Republican can figure out by the way the questions are asked. Anyone have anything they want to say? :)

You can send those along with a note explaining that they are your "contribution to RNC family values".

If the return address is free post

(1) Get a box

(2) Put your phone book (and maybe some rocks, too) in the box

(3) Close the box up

(4) Tape the RNC return envelope to the box

(6) Take it to the Post Office

(7) Enjoy the idea that instead of the RNC making money off that envelope, you could conceivably cost them a few dollars

I'm on his email list but a letter is so much more exciting. :)

I did that back in 2000 or so and gotten postal mail addressed with the Hates Bush included from Republicans and the USO.

I had mailing labels sent with it too.
