DU this poll. RE: Bush tax cuts. FIXED

Car salesman and Congressional candidate Thomas Ganley is using the usual Foxesque deceptive advertising to smear U.S. Rep. Betty Sutton (D-OH-13). The poll question notes the expiration of the Bush tax cuts next year. Then it suggests that this somehow raises taxes on ordinary people. Then it asks if you support reinstating those cuts. Sutton has been a friend to the progressive cause since she took office in 2006, replacing Sherrod Brown in the fighting 13th. She was committed to the public option.

5. My understanding
is that repealing *all* of the Bush tax cuts actually would cause most peoples' taxes to go up.

7. Actually, they would a tiny bit...
...though I understand Congressional Ds will pass a measure to maintain the lower rate for most people. My own feeling is let them go back up.

Yes Bush tax cuts should be renewed-----127= 78.9%
No Bush tsx cuts shouldn't be renewed--- 27= 16.8%

Poll needs some help!

8. The poll is a little deceptive. Yes 136 72.7% now
Betty Sutton and the Democrat-led Congress are working to make the tax cuts which were enacted in 2003, expire later this year. I believe they should be renewed and will do all I can to keep your taxes low. Do you believe they should be renewed?

Not Sure 2 1.1%
