America's Kidnap Capitol - Phoenix, AZ
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed into law the nation's toughest legislation against illegal immigration today. But, I don't believe it will help that state.

In my humble opinion,

1) The US needs to take care of illegal employers and corporate greed
2) Fix its immigration and visa policies
3) Do something about America's drug addiction problems

I think the borders a lost cause. Fences are a waste of time.

Distressing audio of kidnappings in progress.

1. As long as poverty exists in Mexico, people will come here ...
to feed their families.

2. The onlly way to solve the addiction problem
is to declare an end to the drug war. Offer the stuff legally from behind a counter to slow access to kids. Offer pure stuff at below black market prices.

That will make addicts healthier until they decide to get off the merry go round and get into treatment, something we'll be able to pay for with the billions now going down the paramilitary interdiction rathole.

It will also take the largest source of funding for criminal gangs worldwide away, thus busting those gangs more efficiently than anything we've tried yet. The history with Prohibition proves that.

Making adult human behavior into "victimless crimes" is just never going to work, not ever. It only makes those "crimes" more attractive.

It's about time we denied moralists their great nanny state controlling adult behavior. It's time we tried the only strategy proven to work: control access away from kids and bust the gangs funded by high black market prices.

3. I agree with you.
Unfortunately, those who run the paramilitary interdiction rat hole are somewhat invested in keeping it going. Big business building prisons to warehouse and police agencies get bigger and better toys with every seizure. I am positive the average line cop wouldn't have a problem with legalization done in a rational way, but the politicians, chiefs, and other higher ups who make their money and their name on being "tough on crime" will scream.

4. Never been a fan of legalization
I've never been a fan of legalization. But, I really see no other way out of this mess.
