Found these on a Norwegian newspaper site. Someone's been sabotaging Tory campaign posters. #2 is my favourite!

6. Notice how the conservatives use the word "change"?
I thought "Change" and "Conservative" were contradictions in terms.

30. the tories have hired anita dunn to advise on campaign strategies
former communications director (i think) for obama. the tory campaign is a conscious attempt to emulate obama's success, but from the right.

This is great stuff, the peoples' art. Thanks so much.

After watching the debate, I'm thinking Brown will pull it off.

21. Doubtful
Brown has been subject to a full-blown hate campaign by the media for the last two years (some of which he brought on himself) and he has neither likeability nor gravitas. He may manage to hold on as part of a LibDem-Labour coalition though and that may be the best outcome we can hope for.

The other two just looked dreadful. Maybe there will be an "event" that changes things.

28. Well, good luck to you
I have my own opinion about the debate. But the public opinion polling is interesting. Clegg
seems to have stalled. That makes Thursday's night event very interesting. If the SNP gets in
it will be even more interesting.

19. The Tory billboards this campaign really do suck
Happily they are all too easy to parody.

It's about time that the Tories started campaigning on policies rather then image.

20. They can't
Campaigning on policies would mean campaigning on the same Thatcherite policies that they're still pushing and which caused the near-destruction of the country last time. Last time the Tories were in power, the unemployment rate topped 12% (much higher among the young), wages dropped, the taxes paid by the rich dropped, the NHS was crippled, everything in sight was privatised (causing exploding prices and plummetting service) and our industrial and munafacturing base was destroyed. Thatcher was essentially Darth Cheney in drag and she ran her government like a dictator.

Since the Tories are offering the exact same policies all over again, the only option they have is to run on image.

31. Well since they are so proud of the policies of the Thatcher era...
...then they should have the guts to campaign on policy.

P.S Spotted another defaced Tory billboard on Bumhole Lane outsute Sheffield Un*t*d's football ground, emblazoned with the words TORY SCUM. Even Unitedites know better then Cameron!
