They should be tarred and feathered and beaten out of town with sticks. Or better yet, drowned in the golf of mexico.

2. Same Fate As...
The greedy executives of Big Oil companies should have to endure being covered in crude oil for hours and hours.

Their greed has caused thousands of wild animals to suffer in this way.

3. What, they did it on purpose?
I don't think so. I hate the fact that this disaster happened but considering how much money this is going to cost them in fines, settlements, cleanup costs, stock prices, etc. the oil company doesn't like it any more than we do.

4. what about those granting them access to more drilling areas?
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is proposing to open vast expanses of water along the Atlantic coastline, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and the north coast of Alaska to oil and natural gas drilling, much of it for the first time, officials said Tuesday.

7. If we want to transition to clean renewable energy, we should be going against this.
We desperately need a crash course in clean energy.

8. Found this map via Dept. of Interior site
And remember we had a BAN on offshore drilling until Obama changed it.
Also remember the EPA has been essentially anti-environment for years.

About those hurricanes............

6. This latest accident in the Gulf is heartbreaking, especially
the fact so many lives were lost. Do any of you remember the Ocean Ranger sunk off the coast of Newfoundland? It was another catastrophe of epic porportions. I believe 84 workers were lost, though I can't remember if the rig caused a spill and had to be capped. It affected Newfoundland for a long, long time.

10. I find it amazing Obama succumbed to big oil, especially with the frequency of earthquakes...
Why does Obama give in to any conservative? There is no bipartisanship. Bush never tried to negotiate with the democrats and forced all kinds of evil and disaster upon the US. So why should President Obama give an inch to the same thugs who supported all of the damage caused by Bush and conservatives. Screw them. We won the 2008 elections. It's our opportunity to clean up all the messes caused by conservative extremism.

11. I try to be tolerate, I don't attack gays, but I must object to having sex with an oil co.
Furthermore how is it done? Missionary or do you prefer dogie when fucking an oil company? I really do NOT want to know, just stating my objections to such sexual activities and hearing people talk about them.
