2. What can we do? The damage is already done, and the worst is yet to come.

All we can do at this point is push hard for no more offshore drilling, and improving the conditions of the rigs already out there (includes unionizing).

That poor bird, his fellow birds, the sea life and the coast in the path of the slick are doomed.
