Tomorrow's headlines tonight: Obama fills Big House for UMich commencement; Palin sells 1000 tix ...
... for her speech in a Michigan church in that semi-rural metropolis known as Independence Township. BTW, the church can seat 2000.

And, Sarah's gonna have Steve Moore of the badly named "Club for Growth" there to pump up the attendance.

Tix for the Obama event were gone in a matter of hours. Tix for the Palin/Moore event? Not so much.

More than 1,000 order tickets to Palin speech in Independence Township
Published: Friday, April 30, 2010

By Karen Workman, For the Royal Oak Daily Tribune

More than 1,000 people have purchased tickets to attend a speech by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in Independence Township on Saturday.

“We can seat up to 2,000 people. We encourage people, if you want to attend, to purchase tickets online but we will be selling tickets at the door,” said Jake Davison, communications director for Michigan chapter of the Americans for Prosperity Foundation.

Palin will be the keynote speaker for the foundation’s Defending the American Dream Summit.

Check-in starts at 7 a.m. for the event, which is being held at Mount Zion, 4900 Maybee Road. Palin is expected to take the stage shortly after the summit begins at 9 a.m.
