New Orleans, LA, United States (AHN) - The fourth ex-New Orleans police officer connected to the post-Hurricane Katrina shootings of civilians on a Louisiana bridge pleaded guilty this week, according to authorities.

Former officer Robert Barrios pleaded guilty in federal court to accusations that he did not report a cover-up in the investigation of the shooting on the Danzinger Bridge in New Orleans, according to a statement issued by the Department of Justice Wednesday.

He faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine snip

Barrios confessed in court he met with officers to corroborate their stories. He also lied when he told police he saw civilians with handguns, according to reports.
