So I was all set to watch MSNBC this morning like every Sunday morning
Turned it on and saw it was Morning Joke and his sycophantic crew.

I'm watching CNN. I think I'll now give up MSNBC on Sunday mornings and switch to CNN completely.

I've found I watch less and less MSNBC these days. I will NOT subject myself to Joe Scarborough (R-Dead Intern). I won't even risk it.

1. They have been advertising that they would be doing the post-Correspondents' Dinner wrap-up.

Thanks for nothing, MSNBC.

3. The weekends are a joke.. The only shows I like are keith, rachel, and ed.
AND Rachel is usually the one I try to catch if I don't catch the others.. Her analysis and guests are much more in depth... less screaming... And I like the way she gets excited when she's got an "out of the park" interview or scoop. Every news person should aspire to be as good as she is.

5. Rachel MAddow is the best there ever was.
No journalist even comes close.

I used to watch MSNBC on Sundays to avoid CNN. Looks like I can't do that any more.

11. I'm so glad they took a chance on her... She is what every channel needs that delivers the news.
AND I love that she isn't some slicked up blonde with big boobs... Not that I have anything against that because I'm naturally endowed, but I don't like that they tend to hire with that pre-requisite. She's so normal... I hope she doesn't lose the "normal" as she gains years.

6. Mika Mouse has decided to play the role of the
after party drunk still in the dress with sunglasses supposedly hiding the hangover. That any self-respecting woman would promote herself in this way is disturbing.

7. Let me tell ya...
I had just got up from a night of deep slumber and put on the coffee...came back to the bedroom and turned on the TV....
MSNBC Morning Joe was on!!! Oh crap, is it Monday??? I thought it was Sunday...got to go to work;

No, wait, look at the calender first...yea, it's Sunday....Now I am awake....So, this must be a new thing for them...and why the sunglasses?

To address your point, yes, they are moving into a "Fox lite" zone......i support your boycott of Morning Joe.

10. Sunday mornings used to be actual news
Alex Twit is a bit annoying, but it was a way to avoid CNN.

Now with a risk of it being Morning Joke, I';ll never know how Sunday mornings on MSNBC are.

9. I Couldn't Stomache Chicken Noodle Nuze...
I threw them on to see if there was any more on the NYC incident and the Gulf Oil slick and felt my intelligence was insulted in a hurry. The bobblehead anchors had some "terrorism expert" who all but claimed this was some national crisis and that we have "many enemies"...very re-assuring. Then there were the "reporters" standing around Times Square showing empty streets (which are not uncommon around Times Square at 5 in the morning) and if they were facing real danger by being there (I guess they weren't approached by a pushy street vendor...LOL). Just speculation and second guessing...little information, just verbal diahrea.

After nearly 15 minutes of fear mongering, they finally got around to the Oil spill situation and the thimble full of information was surrounded by more speculation and pontification...who is to blame, why wasn't something done, why didn't President Obama stop this earlier...blah blah blah.

The useful information gets obliterated by the speculation by newsreaders who constantly jumble spin with fact and show a total lack of real understanding of issues other than the "conventional wisdom".

Thank goodness for blogs and the intertubes...
