Hillary: I do not and have never wanted to be a judge.
PRESS THE MEAT:

MR. GREGORY: And yet you don't care to be on the Supreme Court?

SEC'Y CLINTON: Oh, never. I mean, I'm glad, I'm glad you asked me that.

MR. GREGORY: You're a lawyer with all that background.

SEC'Y CLINTON: I am--I do not and have never wanted to be a judge, ever. I mean, that has never been anything that I even let cross my mind because it's just not my personality.

1. Now THAT would be the ultimate pick imo.
Hill on the SCOTUS! I'd buy that for a dollar!

2. She knows President Obama would have already asked her...
if he wanted her on the court.

3. I think she's being very honest with that staatement. She
seems to lie the spotlight, being with people, and making good things happen. I think this SOS job fits her very well, but not a SCOTUS.

6. Especially a Supreme Court judge--the life is fairly isolated
and you can't speak out on anything. That's not Hillary. I understand her reticence.

I have a relative who is a federal judge (appointed by Clinton). He's not terribly happy with what he does.

9. What would make her deserving of it? Being first lady? Carpet bagging to a senate job?
Running for president? Being Sec. Of State?

I like her, but I don't think she is all that and she just get a very powerful job just because she has 'Clinton' as her last name.

How the hell does she deserve it more than the people who have been trying cases out there for years?

I don't worship any politician to the point I think they deserve things - they need to earn it like the rest of us, but they have a 'good old boys/girls' club and celebrity status some people buy into.

Why should she be looked at ahead of the many other candidates?

10. What makes her less qualified than: Rehnquist, O'CONNOR, thomas, SCALIA, and manymany others?!1
REHNQUIST (drug abuser, NIXON toad, minority-oppressor), Sandy minority-oppressor, AND THE REST.

What category do you place Hillary CLINTON in?!1

11. If you have time behind the bench you have more qualifications.
How about someone with a history degree with constitutional law in their background?

Why pick someone simply because 'Hey, I like them and know their name'?

Whatever happened to picking and looking for the best person for the job and not tossing it out to a celebrity/politician?

politics in GD for a change.
