US inflation up 2% in March
WASHINGTON (AFP) – US inflation rose two percent in March compared to the same month a year earlier, according to the consumer price index published on Monday.

2. Federal inflation index includes about 40 % housing
so any price hikes have been hidden since housing has fallen so badly.

Once housing stops falling, you'll see the inflation numbers move dramatically.

3. And containers that contain less product somehow do not count.
:shrug: All measures seems to be drastically bad at accounting for things, especially unemployment.

4. Based mostly on fuel cost which are being driven up by speculators
