I'd like to go on record now as predicting the Nashville flooding is a bigger deal than the Gulf oil
spill. They had a 500 year flood and it's not a news story - and I have no idea why - but the devastation is immense and will be compounded by the fact that nobody has flood insurance and most of it is not in a flood zone.

5. ? 6 months from now the damage from the Nashville flood will have been repaired
and the clean up from the Gulf Oil spill will have just begun.

7. If the hole in the floor of the gulf has been plugged.
Houston has been flooded big time, many times.

I feel for the victims of the flood, we had a big one 2001.

What is happening in the gulf is going to effect everyone, no matter where you live.

12. Why must it be a competition? Or are you saying you want more coverage of the flooding?
It is true that sometimes 1 disaster is covered more than another, but it doesn't have to be a competition. Keep posting articles and photos and we will keep looking.
