2. The Legacy of "Trickle Down"...
The theory that you make the rich so rich they drop change all over the place and the little guys pick up what they can and we all live happily ever after. The "Raygonic" wet dream of unfettered crony capitalism will spread the wealth through consumer overload...the little guys get the wide screens while the big guys get the mansions...fair trade, eh?

In my lifetime I've seen our labor force go from the single income to the dual income to the dual job...each step the value of the job decreaes as the ability to earn a living decreases. It's where the rise in prices for the basics...housing, food, energy have steadily increased while the ability to earn has gone in the other direction. The shit hit the fan when the bubble burst on not just the housing market but credit in general. The belt was finally tightened one notch too many...defaults and bankruptcies have stagnated this economy and slowed any recovery.

4. I work for a very wealthy woman
She travels the world, has two professional kitchens in her massive home. She cries poor incessantly to me. Told me if I make her business more profitable "we" will be able to afford "some luxuries". After 14 months of working for her I was kinda hoping to be able to afford the luxury of going to the doctor. Apparently that luxury remains out of my reach for now while she leaves for three weeks in France soon.

As much as my situation sucks there is nothing better for me out there. It wouldn't be so bad if not for her abusive personality.

Julie
