Boycotts have richies attention in AZ.
They are whining like a spoiled bully brat whose lollipop was taken by the stand-up kid. :D

6. Governor whining, joeblow R Piehole screamed at in Vegas, still waiting to hear
about the next sports pullout (that's why gov leatherface is whining), then I read this in Portland Progressive Examiner.

The Arizona Hotel and Lodging Association said Friday that 19 meetings representing 15,000 room nights have been canceled because of the immigration law.

Canceling conventions in Arizona is only the beginning. Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks are encountering protesters on the road. And the AriZona iced tea company wants everyone to know that its drinks are made in New York.

Targets for the boycott include: Tempe-based US Airways; Phoenix-based U-Haul; Moving the 2011 Major League Baseball All Star Game out of Phoenix; All vacation travel to Arizona; All business travel to Arizona; All products made in Arizona.

Major cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles are cancelling any and all business deals with Arizona.

7. I hope it gets really bad fast so it will be over sooner.
lol

Boy, Brewer is a real piece of work. That stuff Greg dug up on her when she was SoS is unbelievable. She's the Ken Blackwell of Arizona.

9. Greg Palast -- remember -- he found out that she kicked 100K
Latinos off of the rolls without any evidence that they were bad registrants. She couldn't give him a single name of a person who registered to vote illegally.

11. If AZ doesn't walk the law back by fall, they will probably REALLY feel a pinch
Thinkin some of the snowbirds that generally come and spend won't do either. Seems likely the economy of Tucson, which relies heavily on tourists from Mexico who come to shop, will fail faster than it has been already, and that has been awful.

12. Do you think they can hold out that long? People are hurting.
You're right about Tuscon and the border towns. That's probably why the sheriff of Pima Co. is out in the media against this hate law. He's doing his best to let people know Pima Co. isn't having any of it and that people will not be harassed in his county. They get a sizable % of their retail income from Mexico.

13. Problem is, the people who are hurting are not the idiots that did this
and the head idiots don't seem to have enough intestinal fortitude to admit mistakes and fix them.

Brewer is a nasty, bitter, hate filled racist. And she has a posse of same in the legislature. They hurt other people all the time, and they seem to get off on it.

15. I think that politicians are even more aware than we might be
of all the hostility flowing their way from people who are flat out desparate noow. But, Brewer sounds like a sociopath (to me, anyway). She can come up with excuses for bad behavior without turning a hair. She and her cronies may be out of touch enough to try to brazen it out. They'll get what they deserve at the polls, that's for sure.
