1 in 3 Americans lives within 10 miles of one of these sites. These sites pose a threat to public health. The Center For Public Integrity has found that clean up of Superfund sites is roughly half what it was under the Clinton administration. Around 80 percent of Superfund sites have not been fully cleaned up. Call and email Congress, demand that they hold hearings and pass legislation which corrects this problem.
