Man explains purpose of controversial billboards....
MARSHALL, TX (KLTV) - An East Texan is getting his point across with billboards. The signs voice simple thoughts on the Obama Administration.

The billboards began in Marshall, with the latest in Longview, taking jabs at the Obama Administration, with phrases like, "Embarrassed yet?" and "Wake up."

Both are identified as paid for by E.M. Citizen. Who is E.M.? Ellis Miller of Gilmer.

"I was frustrated by how things were going with the health care bill and other aspects of the administration," Miller explained.

Neither Republican or Democrat, at 69 the mild mannered and soft spoken Miller is a retired doctor in Gilmer who wants to make his voice known.

"Seemed to ignore what people wanted, what can I do," he said. "I have health reasons that I can't get out and go to tea parties, and it came to me, put up a billboard."

Really...he's neither a Dem or a Republican? Sorry, I'm not buying that, especially given he wants to hang out with the baggers.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember so many (anti) billboards for any other president, especially a year and half in.

1. Not much chance of embarassment.
Whenever I think the guy we've got in there isn't doing what he should, I just think of three little words and I feel better:

Vice. President. Palin.

There, see? All better.

3. Just look at the prevalence of "independents" now. People that
voted for Bush twice that won't admit it. I have no problem telling anyone I voted for Obama.

6. Yup..
Seems like more and more Republicans are using the "Independent" label. I'm not saying that there aren't "real" Independents, but when you rail against all Dems, are against gay marriage, use the "smaller government" mantra, are against ALL social programs, etc.. You're not an Independent you're a Conservaturd Republicon.

Seems they're the one's that are embarrassed.

That's the newest GOP horseshit: "I am an independent."

I bet I know what this clown voted last time around, and it sure as hell wasn't Democratic.

12. Oh come on, how could you have ever thought he was a progressive?
He's actually a bit more liberal than I expected. I figured him for a Bill Clinton Democrat. The health care bill made me realize he wasn't as far right as I thought. But never ever did I think he was a progressive.

15. I admit, I was a sucker.
I was expecting him to be a Dean, an anti-establishment reformist policy moderate. I was wrong.

8. I find the most cowardly people are ones that hide behind the 'independent' tag.
What it means is that they are so embarrassed by Repukes, that they won't admit to being a Repuke. I always ask what they like about liberals, since they must find something. It drives THEM CRAZY and most won't answer.
