This is not the first time an odd photo was an issue in a supreme court appointment
Remember how the media went ape-shit over this photo and how it brought up questions about the nominee?

remember how everyone was critiquing the photo and wondering about the man who would be the eventual chief justice?

remember how it was all over the news..24/7

oh wait.. it wasn't..

why?

because democrats do not run the media, and even if they did, they are not likely to be so crass and mean-spirited as to insinuate something from a photo.

To be fair we did discuss the picture here at DU, but only to show how NON-interested republicans were, and how they were willing to ignore something about their candidate that they would have NEVER let slide in a democratic candidate.

3. Or what about the time a male prostitute who pretended to be a reporter ...
...... spent many nights at the White House? I can still remember the hearings in the Senate
and how Lindsey Graham and Ken Star would not rest until they got to the bottom of things.

oh wait ......

Or when a 28 year woman who ran marathons just fell over dead in Joe Scarborough office
with her head split wide open from where she bumped it?

oh wait ......

6. and then there's always diaper-baby Vitter
the media was pretty "mum" about his proclivities..

Can you imagine how infuriating it must be for democratic senators to have to sit there and be lectured to by this idiot?

8. I remember that pic. and the discussion.
But we must all understand that the right wing is not all that against gays...and many of them are....but gays serve as a useful tool to keep the homophobic and Christians locked in to their side.
And so the media that supports them plays it down for them and raises questions about the other side's agenda.
