The RW emails are getting loonier - Impeach Obama! Install a military general!
Here in AZ the freepers love SB1070. Here is one (complete with the most excellent freeper spelling) from my neighbor this morning:

"The State of Arizona pass the Immigration Law which is accepted by the majority not the minority. When are we going to stand up as majority citizens tell those minority supporters that if they don't like living here move to Mexico and see how it is to be accepted there. We need to stop he illegals from crossing our borders to rape our state. If we stop them and stop the drugs from coming to our state also dig out the drug cartel and find the money like Mexico does. They show pictures of millions of dollars piled up in drug cartel homes that is USA money. Let get together and force Obama to stand up and do what is good for our country instead taking the USA down. Better yet let start a campaign to impeach Obama and his staff then bring in a MILITARY GENERAL to run this country. Everyone should look back to the 40's,50's and 60's to see what honesty really means.
This is just some of my thoughts as the politicians FLUSH US DOWN THE TOILET by selling us to foreign countries. Block our boarders and the state that appose our laws, they are their laws also according to the late grate Theodor Roosevelt in 1907."

Hmmm... During 18 of those "honest years" we had Democratic presidents, the Civil Rights Act passed, Brown vs. BOE, Medicare was passed, etc. In praising those years, is my loony neighbor saying he likes those things?

2. funny how that poster recognizes the majority that support the Arizona move -
but not the majority that elected Obama.

pretty selective.

3. Yeah...
and funny how they never wanted to impeach W for his egregious war crimes. Bush did little to "secure the border." It goes back to that statement "you didn't get angry when...." and then lists Bush's failings. Chalk this one up to another RWer who can't handle a Black president.

BTW, the neighbor who sent this is rabidly opposed to socialism but is on disability, medicare, and receives VA benefits.

8. My LTTE , essentially saying the same thing about why Tea partiers are complaining NOW,
was published and within a few days I got hate mail, the gist of which was it was all Clinton's fault. And then making an obscene reference to Clinton's use of a cigar sexually. Lots of F bombs in the letter and one C word as well. I've kept the letter and the envelope and plan to pull it out to show my conservative friends...

6. selective too ... I'd bet that the OP there blasted John Kerry for even hinting that
the U.S. forces in Vietnam might have said a nasty thing to some of the Vietnamese prisoners they held ... and now the OP would be cheerleading doing worse than what Kerry reported in the 70s ...

4. Your loony neighbor is showing his own stupidity. You can't "impeach" a oresident's
staff! You can't impeach a president just because you don't like being in the minority! He's forgotten that in those lovely years he speaks of, we were involved in WWII Korea, & Vietnam.

He spoke about the millions of $$ iled up in drug cartel homes. Where does he think that $$ comes from? It's not all Az. and no law is going to stop the Americans from buying the MJ that provides that $$.

It doesn't seem to be the President who is saying that law is unconstitutional, but most lawyers are saying that too.

7. It wasn't much of a "grating"--
seems he only had the "e" grated off his first name!

9. aaaaarg - "block our boarders . . ." and "appose our laws"
boarder blocking - refusing to let renters pass . . . .

and sitting side-by-side with our laws???? What the hell does that mean?

10. Your neighbor is really quite dumb...
...and you need to tell him so.

At first when these people said these things, it was frightening.
Then it got to be hilarious.
Now it's just boring.

We really have to stop repeating everything they say on internet discussion forums, and we need to stop "countering" their points with "facts and ideas." They don't listen, and they are hypocrites.

What we need to do is tell them that they are being really dumb, and then ignore them. They want attention and validation, and we give it to them. That simply needs to stop, so that they become marginalized. Seriously, the only proper response to this kind of idiocy goes something like this:

"Ha ha! That's pretty funny! Oh, you mean you really believe that? Wow, you are REALLY dumb! Please stop sending me this non-sense, because, I have, you know, a life that I would like to enjoy without this brain-dead idiocy. Cheers!"

Seriously, if we marginalize and ignore them, we win. If we repeat what they say and/or try to "respond," we lose. It's that simple...

13. I like this approach
and you're right, it's really really dumb. One of his emails had something that claimed to be proven by snopes with the snopes link. I clicked the link - snopes said it was false right there on the link. I wrote him back and asked if he'd followed the link because it disproved the bs in his email. No answer. He just copies and pastes.

I'm debating with myself over whether he'll have a JD Hayworth or Buzz Mills sign in his yard.

12. As I recall, the last time someone tried to replace a President with a general...
...the general they picked went right to the Prez and told EVERYTHING.

USMC General Smedley Butler, back during FDR's administration.

Bunch of plutocrats, obviously not aware that Butler was the guy who wrote "War is a Racket", tried to get him to stage a coup. Worst choice they could possibly have made.

Remind me -- didn't a lot of those plutocrats end up getting the death penalty?

***

On a more modern note, if that little prick won't feel safe without a big strong general in the White House, why don't you suggest that he should start a write-in campaign for Wes Clark in the next election. (You don't have to tell Wee Willie Winkie the Freeper that Clark, in addition to being a fantastic commander, is also a progressive Democrat.)
