Maddow is just too smart, she makes you think. Beck is entertaining and amusing.

I was kind of disapointed that there was little substance to her speech. . .
I think she is absolutely fantastic on TV. . .And I love her!

But. . .yesterday her speech was long in details that were not that "intersting" or "inspiring," And short on substance!

It seemed that she spent half her time "leading" to something, or filling time. . .and then she basically said: "personal glory is not that important, and can lead you to be remembered for the wrong reason!"
I do not think that the students were that impressed either!

But I still love her, and can't wait to see and hear her in her "natural environment!"

Rachel is far more intelligent and worthwhile, that goes without saying.

But the idea that some mainstream school would bring Beck onto a podium in front of non pre-screened, ya know, normal people and not Fox's demented worshipers of Die Partei Republikkkanische, is pretty enticing. As in bottles, cans, tomatoes, missiles......

Seems appropriate a fake person should speak at commencement.

I wasn't kidding when I said earlier that Beck is nausea inducing. This commencement speech is all over the place. It sounds like he wrote it in 30 minutes on a stack of 3x5 cards, which he dropped and got out of order right before he started speaking. It yo-yo's between him telling them that devoting their lives to God is the only important thing, and then saying "but remember, no pain, no gain!". Really. He actually said it. 25:30ish. And then goes on with even more tired cliches.

I have to keep taking breaks from this, or the stupidity radiating from the screen will cause my eyes to melt.
