Watch Frontline: Wounded Platoon tonight on PBS: Shame of our military and our country

What I sent my relatives and friends, especially those who are Republicans and War supporters.

"You will see why I have gave up so much of my life for the past 9 years. I have heard these stories over and over.. I had images of what was to come when I stood on a corner with other people in Fresno.

This shows what happens to some our troops when they come home. One of these troops might be standing next to you at a store, a baseball game, class, bar, etc.

Frontline as always, does an incredible reporting from the actually people in the story.

Third Platoon, Charlie Company. What happened to them in Iraq, and what happened when they came home.

If you watch just 10 minutes you have ask how.. how can we keep supporting and sent our people to these occupations. and 3 Trillion of our tax dollars. Even though I protest, write letters, etc.. my tax dollars have payed for all this pain.

We need to know what is going on, if we are to change it. "


** Watch it till the end. Our troops are used to kill others, and then we throw them away.

We call them Heroes, and then when the suffer from PTSD and Head Injuries we let them suffer, we encourage them to self medicate.
We send more off to these so called wars.

statement was ludicrous. Also the callous comment from that officer at the end: 'If I'd fought this war before blah blah blah...'

That Judge is a huge part of the PROBLEM! What a dickhead! He completely ignored the facts, knew NOTHING about what that kid went through, and proceeded to chew his ass out and shame him for wearing the uniform! What a piece of shit! And they give the anti-vietnam protesters of that era shit for spitting on troops! Those protesters were uninformed too, but this guy is plain evil!
