Bin Laden "Stronger Than Ever"?

Bin Laden "Stronger Than Ever"?

U.S. News and World Report says this week that over the past year, US intelligence agencies "have completely revised their assessment of al Qaeda and reached an alarming conclusion: Bin Laden already has a safe haven -- in Pakistan -- and may be stronger than ever." The intelligence "shift was driven by al Qaeda's resurgence as well as new information they had obtained about its deep involvement in recent terrorist plots. Privately, U.S. officials concede that they had overestimated the damage they had inflicted on al Qaeda's network. The captures of successive operational commanders, including 9/11 planner Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, amounted only to temporary setbacks; they were replaced with disturbing ease."

2. Decisions, decisions
Is this

A) further proof that President Bush is an incompetent dope who can't be trusted to protect America.

or

B) another attempt by the Government-Media elite to scare us into supporting further violence in the middle east.

I'll go with A.

4. Now I could have told you that ...
and I am not a General. I have been watching for these last few years, each time they capture a so called leader of Al Qaeda or any other group, I always wonder what are they thinking.Whether it is Zahawair or any of the so called leaders do they really think it will stop due to the death of one of the group. They are only making them stronger.I wonder why they believe that there are not others who are planning right along with the so called leader.

6. Hell, he probably has recruitment posters with Chimpie on them
Bush has given him new recruits and probably funds from every country we ever dicked around.

But this also could be yet another propaganda push by the WH to take the heat off the crap that is being uncovered.

Same shit, different day.

7. If he was stronger than ever you'd think he'd send a video once in a while
If bin Laden was alive and well, there is no logical reason he wouldn't tape regular videos for his followers and for the world to see.

Face it. He's been dead for a while now.

9. Every American should be outraged.
Bush allowed Bin laden to escape at Tora Bora because US forces were on standby to invade Iraq.

The Bush mafia allowed Pakistan to "guard the border" while 10th Mountain, etc. went up the valley.

Utterly absurd. Bin Laden is a hero in Pakistan and the Bush mafia knew Pakistan wasn't guarding a damn thing.

There should have been at least 2 US divisions guarding the border but the oil was more important to Bush.
