Hi everyone, just wanted to take a minute to thank you for all of your hard work and support over the past few months. We wouldn’t be in a position to take back this Senate seat without you. We stood up for health care and net neutrality and other progressive issues and you rallied to our cause. Now we enter a general election where the Republican candidate is so far to the right that he prefers to call himself the leader of the Tea Party.

But as I said election night this election is not about me and it’s not about Rand Paul, it’s about the future of Kentucky. People across the Commonwealth are hurting right now – we have close to 11% unemployment. It’s time we create jobs and cut the deficit and do what is best for Kentucky.

I hope you will help us by donating today so that we can run an aggressive campaign and let Kentuckians know right away that there is a clear choice in this race. With your support, we can fulfill the promise of Orange to Blue and win this election in the fall.
