So, call the White House.....
if you're not happy with Obama's response to the Oil Disaster. Call or email every day until something changes. He can't read our minds just because we voted for him.

I spoke the my Sunday school class today about people who just say things vs people who DO things. We all need to do things about our situation.

I agree - call and register our dissatisfaction. Absolutely.

But . . . we should not have to tell the WH that 5 weeks of uncontrolled oil flow is probably not a good thing for our environment.

6. Do you really thing Obama does not know....
how serious this situation is? That would make him an idiot, and everyone around him an idiot.

I don't think any of us know what Obama is or is not doing about the oil disaster. He is not telling us, and that is definitely not good leadership visibility.

7. I have given up contacting most of my elected officials
as I can see who they work for and it ain't me or the rest of the regular people.

Letters to the editor still might get some attention. Taking to the streets gets more attention than it did during the Bu$h administration, but still not much. Face it, most of them do not work for us.
