1. The problem is that many of the nit wits out there believe that kind of crap
Last night I was playing the youtube video of him saying that and my SO pipes up with she agreed accidents happen. I then explained to SO if we took our car into a brake repair shop who then replaced our bad brakes with products that failed testing and we went from the shop and totaled the car would she consider that an accident. She said hell no, the shop was wrong on using bad parts to repair the brakes. I said BP and the mines did exactly that when they decided to cut safety in order to boost profits. She said oh. In a lot of ways my SO is a tea bagger, only I can come up with stuff to get her past face values.

6. What a POS this guy is
Oil drilling is indeed a dangerous business and sometimes despite the best efforts shit still happens. But what we got from BP was NOT their best effort. It was less than half assed. Pushing onward with damaged and malfunctioning equipment in a gamble to complete the well and save a few bucks...at what cost? People dead and environmental disaster....how do you put a price on human life? How do you put a price on the planet on which we live?

:grr:
