Please tell me it is not what I think it is? Prescription drugs from overseas...

Did the Democratic Senate just vote against allowing us to buy meds from a foreign country? DID THEY JUST CAVE IN TO THE BIG PHARMA lobbying efforts? Please tell me this is NOT what I am reading...Isn't this what Bush and the pukes wanted? protect big pharma's right and desire to f%$#@K us?

Which is fine with me. Back in the sixties thalidomide was popular in Europe and we hadn't approved of it here yet, but we still allowed imports- to the regret of many.
