Dem lawmaker urges White House to release details on Sestak job
Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner (N.Y.) called on the White House Monday to detail conversations it allegedly had with Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) to try to convince him to drop his Senate bid.

Weiner said allegations that White House officials had offered Sestak an administration job in exchange for his dropping his primary bid against Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) had become a growing political liability.

3. You know, this seems like such a small deal
Compared to the usual practice of every WH to give ambassador positions to top campaign donors.

5. I have a hard time believing the WH would be that careless after the whole blago thing
I don't believe it is being presented accurately. Even if this kind of stuff did occur all the time I would think the administration would have been extra careful afterwards.
