"Mexicans won't serve in the Navy"...
This said by a racist MF in the waiting room at the VA today. That was actually the least racist thing he said. His entire diatribe was laced with such offensive racism that I almost vomited. All the while Faux noise was playing on the flat screen TV about illegal immigration and he had to sprew that vile garbage the entire time. The room was quiet. I wasn't the only veteran that knew what he was.

2. That's funny. A HUGE percentage of the guys I served with in Special Forces were hispanic.
Mostly of Mexican descent, too.

And they were some of the dealiest soldiers I'd ever met.

4. Too bad he can't meet my son's father in law
A Mexican American, he not only served in the Navy, he received a Purple Heart for injuries he received while doing so. He's extremely proud of his service and I'm sure he'd like to hear what this asshole had to say about the subject.

6. Hispanics are actually under-represented in the military. Language issues
and the very high drop out rate among some groups of Hispanics discourage them from signing up or from being eligible to join.

The Army is thinking of having a kind of high school/English language program to change this.
