Did anybody see "The Special Relationship" on HBO last night?

I was not aware that Tony Blair was pushing so hard for ground troops in the Kosovo War in 1999. Clinton was against it, as he seemed to appreciate the isolationist mindset of American public opinion back in the 1990's.

Clinton and Blair are given their due credit for the Northern Ireland peace process.

It is also implied that Cherie Blair did not terribly like Bill Clinton.

The Lewinsky matter is a subplot to the movie too. Blair comes across in the film much better than Clinton, although this was before he went all neo-con in supporting the Iraq war.

1. I watched the last 15 minutes or so

Didn't know it was on. But the acting seemed so bad, more charicatures, that I didn't think I wanted to watch the whole thing. Do we learn anything from it? That's the only reason I think I could stand to watch it.
