How can I get past my tremendous disdain for Palin--if she won't go

away?

I'm starting to think this is pathological. As much as I detest Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, John Bolton, Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove, Ann Coulter, and so many others of that ilck that elicit a visceral level reaction among any thinking rational person (and certainly any progressive)... but, right now, even hearing her name has me ready to rip my hair out.I absolutely detest her, as though my utter contempt for all of these sociopaths has been consolidated into one singular focus--Sarah Palin.

How can I get past my tremendous disdain for Palin--if she won't go away? Is there a support group for that? ;)

1) She is being artificially propped up.

2) She is dumb as a bag of dryer lint.

3) Even the majority of republicans think she is not presidential material

4) Sooner or later she will have to answer questions from the media and that will not be good to her

5) She thought that the President of France wanted to go moose hunting w/ her.

The religious right still controls the party, and their convention will draft her.

You think you've scraped it all off the bottom of your shoe, but the smell still wafts by and won't go away.

Actually I remember feeling that way about Bush* when he was being propped up so much that no one would even dare to mention his obvious stupidity and failings. And, there was no escape, just like the dog feces on the shoe. :shrug:

John McCain should be ridiculed for the remainder of his days AND a memorial should be erected after his death ridiculing him for his poor judgment on this matter. I'm so thankful that he wasn't elected in 2008.

Once the image of Palin is burned in your eyes it won't ever go away. She is not just stupid. She is evil. She inspires so many gullible fools using hatred, fear and anger. And yet she claims to be a Christian.

What I don't understand are all those Christians who lap up every word from Palin, right wing radio and Fox News never realizing they are listening to non-stop violations of the Ninth Commandment, that states: "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbors". All of those right wing media manipulators make their fortunes by violating the 9th Commandment, but their Christian audiences are too damned stupid and lazy to do fact checks on what they hear. If the truth shall set you free, then right wing dolts are living in their self-imposed prisons of deceptions and lies.

That just doesn't sound like a Christian does it.

I keep hoping that someone in the media will finally go at her and expose her in a way that makes it impossible to continue, but then I remember that she's a rethug and they don't acknowledge their own failings, but simply blame it on others.

What do you do with people who think that ignorance is something to be celebrated and intelligence is something to be ashamed of? Good question to ponder - psychiatrists and psychoanalysts?????

Seems I'm not at all alone in the level of my contempt for this woman.

But I think we are safe from her ever becoming an elected official on the federal level. Of course I might have said the same for bu$h 12 - 15 years ago.

Palin is a fraud at best. She only says what will get her on stage and keep the dollars rolling in for speaking. She like many other loud mouth right wing assholes are blowhards.

The ones to be concerned about are those who believe in her.

She uses people to get what she wants (money) and when something better comes along, off she goes.

That's what she did to Alaska when she resigned as governor to become a book author (sort of, since she didn't actually write the book).

As long as there are idiots willing to pay money to hear her speak, and as long as there are idiots to buy her books, she'll be there, saying what she knows they want to hear. Doesn't matter if it's a lie, doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense. She takes the money and runs.

Sarah Palin is a grifter, a whore, an opportunist, a liar, and a wack job. And she'll stay that way as long as there are people out there with money who are stupider than her.

She has NOTHING positive to say about anyone, only childish taunts and attacks.

Of course she has nothing positive, because she has no message besides hate and fear. (rah rah our team) She has no answers, no plan, no substance.
